By providing us with your valid picture identification, we may complete the required forms to ensure our compliance with Title 31 as outlined by Federal Regulations.

Understanding the Title 31 Reporting Process

Certain businesses, such as casinos, are required to report large cash transactions with customer identification information to the Treasury Department under Title 31 regulations. Title 31 is part of the Bank Secrecy Act of 1985 that is designed to prevent money laundering. Money laundering occurs when money obtained illegally is exchanged for money obtained legally.

So, when you win big, for transactions that need to be reported, you will be asked to provide the following credentials:

• A Valid State or Government Issued Picture ID

• Proof of a Social Security Number (for U.S. Citizens)*
  *Non-U.S. Citizens only need a valid State or Government Issued picture I.D.
